AdoptED Virtual Classroom

Kerry taught in the classroom for over 14 years before joining the AdoptED crew in 2015. Her primary goal for AdoptED is to educate students about the power of adoption by offering engaging and informative content. Kerry values the power of education and family and believes every student has the ability to become resilient amongst life’s challenges if given the appropriate environment and tools to thrive. When asked to name a few of her favorite things, Kerry lists traveling, reading juicy memoirs, chubby bulldogs, binging Netflix with her family and food prepared by others.

Amy comes to AdoptED after her experience working in Gladney's foster care adoption program where she assisted in matching children of all ages with their forever family. With a degree in Family and Child Development she geeks out on family dynamics and loves to know people's "story." Perhaps that is why she enjoys watching reality television in her off time. Because she both personally and professionally understands how abuse and neglect can change the direction of someone's life, Amy is passionate about educating others about the adoption process in hopes to prevent more children from entering the foster care system and to also give hope to those who are currently experiencing it.
